There is an ebb and flow to everything in life. As an entrepreneur, I feel this deeply—sometimes multiple times a day. There are moments of forward momentum, when everything feels like it’s clicking, the opportunities are flowing, the wins are stacking up, and the energy is high! I like to call this being in FLOW! Those are the push days—when I’m full of ideas, taking bold action, and making things happen.
Then there are the pull days. The days when things slow down, when emails go unanswered, when the “yes” I was so sure of turns into a “maybe” or a straight-up “no.” The days when doubt creeps in, when rest is necessary, or when life forces me to pause.
YES, NO, YES, NO, YES!
But That’s life. That’s the PUSH and the PULL.
The push is the effort, the ambition, the drive to chase big goals. The pull is the surrender, the trust, the patience to allow things to unfold. And I have found that it’s not about finding a balance between the two but rather finding YOUR BALANCE, YOUR STABILITY, what makes YOU grounded in between the contrast of the two , that allows you to be the best version of yourself.
The magic isn’t in resisting the push or the pull. It’s in embracing both—and finding acceptance in the space in between.
When I personally feel like I am in the PULL DAYS, I have found that it’s best to BALANCE myself with the practices that I know make me feel better, almost immediately.
A Walk.
A Pilates Class.
A Barry’s Bootcamp Class.
A Meditation.
Breath. Just BREATH.
A glass of water.
A bath.
Journaling, reflecting.
As I reflect on the people in my life who have truly supported me (during PUSH and PULL days) one standout comes to mind—LIVON LABS, my favorite supplement brand.
Almost exactly two years ago, I hopped on a call with the founder, thanks to a kind introduction from my friend Pixie. At the time, I had nothing more than an idea—a vision for sorority and college events designed to support young women’s mental health in a non traditional way. (Yes, these events are more than a pilates class.)
I didn’t have a proof of concept yet, but they believed in me. Not just in the idea, but in me.
Since that day, they have been one of my biggest supporters, championing my mission to empower young women to prioritize both their physical and mental well-being—my way, the BE WELL WITH BRITT way.
I share this story because it’s a reminder that I know I have good people in my corner, on both my PUSH and my PULL days, so I encourage you to find those people for you too! They help you keep your balance when things feel a bit wobbly.

This is so true! Great perspective Britt, trusting in the process and finding your balance. Loved it!
